Snacktime in Beijing!

Mmmmmmm, snack time in Beijing!! Cheeseburgers anyone? No? Well how 'bout some sea-horses and scorpions!! This was in July 2007, on some street not very far from our hotel.

Chinese Cooking Lesson!!

Our hotel in Beijing offered a "behind the scenes" cooking class, which took place in one of the actual hotel kitchens, taught by an actual Chinese chef (with a translator, thankfully). It was fascinating, and very tasty, and we were happy to see how genuinely interested the boys were, they tried very hard to do everything just so. And we were all very happy to eat the results!!
