Our Villa Near Todi
We finally got back from Summer Vacation 2006!! We spent two weeks at a villa just outside of the medieval hilltop town of Todi, in Umbria (don't worry, I'd never heard of it before either). It was a really great place, despite being about 100 degrees nearly every day, and despite the roads being positively infested with angry Italian drivers. This is the view of Todi from just about anywhere on the right side of our villa property
Here's the view of the back of the villa from across the pool (and Matthew)
And if I simply turn around from taking the above picture, this is the view from the pool area
Here's the front of the place
And here's the charming host!
Here's Matthew doing some drawing inside
We had a pizza oven too
Sam and Robert are playing cards
The boys loved the pool table, I guess it's never too young to learn gambling games!
Here's us trying these crazy juices for breakfast... if you look at my eyes you can see I still have that charming glazed jet-lag look going on...
Here's Robert posing with what's about to become truffle scrambled eggs
Somebody gave us a small bottle of truffles, so I got to cut them (something I'd never experienced before!).
Why yes, that is my pair of D&G underware, thanks for noticing!!
Here's Sam, worrying over the scrambled eggs
Another gratuitous shot of the view
And another gratuitous shot of me shirtless... did I mention it was 100 every day?!?
Here's Todi again, this time at dusk
Dinnertime!!!!
Night falls....
Here's me trying to take an artsy sunset shot...
And finally it's night-night time!!
